The responsibilities and function of PAWOA are carried out by an Executive Committee, assisted by 7 Working Committees and a permanent Secretariat.
EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE
The Executive Committee comprises 14 elected members and 4 appointed members, in the management body of PAWOA. Preside over by the President, who is assisted by a Deputy President and 2 Vice Presidents, it is responsible for all policy issues and matters of importance.
WORKING COMMITTEES
Seven Working Committee have been appointed by the Executive Committee, each of which is responsible for a specific area activity. The areas covered by these Working Committees include:
- Disciplinary Committee
- Mediation Committee
- Mechanical Repair Committee
- Collision Repair Committee
- Skill & Training Committee
- Welfare & Recreation Committee
- Education & Culture Committee
Each of the Working Committee is headed by a member of the Executive Committee, where its memberships are drawn from the Executive Committee and the grassroots members.
SECRETARIAT
A secretariat headed by an Executive Secretary and assisted by a supporting staff, is established to provide staff support to the Executive Committee and the various Working Committees. Besides this, the Secretariat is responsible for the day-to-day operations of PAWOA, as well as liaisons with its parent association, the Federation of Automobile Workshop Owners’ Association of Malaysia (FAWOAM) and its brother state associations.
