The Perak Automobile Workshop Owners’ Association (PAWOA) is a trade association, formed in 1978, which membership is drawn from all categories of business actively engaged in motor repair business or service, representing the individual and independent workshops within the automobile repair and servicing industry in the state of Perak Darul Ridzuan.
PAWOA can be viewed as representative function, consultative function and member service provider as PAWOA plays many roles trying its best serving the community and looking after the interest of the members. PAWOA operates a Nationwide Towing Scheme (NTS) under the auspices of FAWOAM, which guided by a set of towing rules and a standard towing charges in order to safeguard the interest of the motoring public. PAWOA has also been working with Skill Development Department (Jabatan Pembangunan Kemahiran JPK) to enhance the automobile repair services and accredit Repairers for their trade and on-the-job acquired experience through the JPK sanctioned Accreditation of Prior Achievement Programs
